Police arrested A 20-year-old Wichita man on two counts of 1st-degree murder stemming from a shooting that fatally injured 38-year-old Bonnie Galloway and 30-year-old Connor O’Callaghan, both of Wichita.
Officers responded to a shooting call at a home in the 2100 block of South Erie around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. There they found Galloway and O’Callaghan who had been shot. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
A resident of the home found the victims shot and called the police. Investigator said the suspect and the victims knew each other and were at the home when a disturbance broke out. During the disturbance, the suspect shot both victims and then fled the home.
Investigators believe drugs were a factor in the crime and the investigation is ongoing,
